  2.  GP2 EdWin Patcher ver.1.1 for DOS

  4.  DOS patcher for settings files from GP2 EdWin 1.1 and later versions

  6.  Patcher supports most of GP2 versions - Spanish, Dutch, Italian, French,
  7. German, UK and US. If this editor doesn't support your GP2 version, mail me.

  9. This program is for patching gp2.exe file with settings files from GP2EdWin 1.1
  10. and leter versions.
  11. Now, you can create your own settings file for GP2 under GP2EdWin. Then,
  12. if you want to send your settings file to your friend, he don't need 
  13. GP2EdWin editor to patch gp2.exe file. You can only include this small
  14. program which do the same as patching option in GP2EdWin.

  16. At first, put file gp2edwp.exe in directory where is file gp2.exe.
  17.  
  18. Usage:
  19.   gp2edwp [version] [file with settings]
  20.  
  21.   where:
  22.     version - choose what version of GP2 you have: 
  23.       US  - US English Version 1.0b 
  24.       GER - Deutsche Ausgabe 1.0b 
  25.       ITA - Versione Italiana 1.0b 
  26.       SPA - Version en espanol 1.0b 
  27.       FRA - Version francaise 1.0b 
  28.       UK  - UK English Version 1.0b 
  29.       NED - Nederlandse versie 1.0b

  31.   Example: 
  32.    gp2edwp ned 1996last.edw 
  33.      - it will patch your gp2.exe file in Dutch version, with settings
  34.        from file 1996last.edw

  37. Remember, this program works only with NOT Read-Only settings files and gp2.exe
  38. file.

  40. I.e. org.edw is a 'part' of GP2EdWin, and it is read-only file. It is 
  41. settings file with original values. For using this file with this program
  42. do this:

  44. copy org.edw myorg.edw
  45. attrib -R myorg.edw
  46.  
  47. So, file myorg.edw is ready to use.

  50.  ver 1.0   7.11.96 - first version
  51.  ver 1.1  16.11.96 - some small changes
  52.  
  53. This program is free, and any publishing it on comercial media, isn't allowed
  54. whithout my permission.

  58. This program changes gp2.exe file, so make backup or if you notice any problem,
  59. copy gp2.exe from your GP2 CD.
